The Jews Coming to Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth: Daniel 2 is as yet Incomplete.

No! It has NOT failed! It merely still working.

“In the days of those kings

“shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty of it be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.”
Dan 2:44

See the earlier blog “The Kingdom HAS come!” and search at the top right of this blog for posts concerning the kingdom.

God still rules in the kingdom of men.

The Jews will yet be a blessing to ALL nations, and Jew and Gentile will be united in Rabbi Jesus the Christ. This and more is discussed in Jewish Chronicles, to be released Friday, November 6, 2020. See your bookseller.

“He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings, and sets up kings; …”
Dan 2:21

Likewise, Paul says,

“… there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.”
Rom 13:1

Further, that authority in our times is exercised by Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth, the One and Only Christ.

“… All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.”
Mtt 28:18

Jesus can do as He pleases with rulers of the earth Psa 2:10-11, and they are warned.

Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way,
For his wrath will soon be kindled.
Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.”
Psa 2:12

In fact even Psalm 2 also describes the insane revolt against the Son’s rule near the end of our present age.

But there is more!

Then all the material of the Daniel 2 image, “the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold,” was broken into powder and the wind blew it away. These ancient empires were to no longer be found, which of course is what has happened. All of these empires disappeared, Dan 2:35.

Notice, although the church / kingdom was not a political entity, was not of this world (Jn 18:36), but the truth which it taught, did destroy all of these pagan empires. The crowning point or this verse comes in the very last part.

… and the stone that struck the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.”
Dan 2:35

This is the stone cut without hands, the kingdom / church which was established “in the days of those kings,” Dan 2:44. A spiritual kingdom. However, any which way you take it, this last part of Dan 2:35 has NOT happened Yet! The church, the Lord’s kingdom in this world, has not filled the earth, YET !

But when the Jews turn to Jesus of Nazareth,

when they turn in the time of great stress, it says that then God

“… will send such as escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, who have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.
Isa 66:19

The Jews will lead the way in completing the Great Commission of preaching the gospel to all men. Then will the last part of Dan 2:35 be fulfilled. Then the end will come, Mtt 24:14

The Jews Coming to Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth will NOT be heaven on earth!

Not ALL Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled with the coming of the Christ in the first century of our age. For instance, many New Testament prophecies of the end of this present universe are quotes from the Old Testament. For instance Heb 1:10-12, and 1Cor 15:54-55, and much more. So it is with many things concerning the Jews. Their conversion will be in a time of severe stress on both Christians (first), and then the Jews. Of the Jews it says,

“11 He will pass through the sea of affliction, …
12 I will strengthen them in Yahweh;
And they will walk up and down in his name,
” says Yahweh.”
Zech 10:11

Jesus will NOT be on earth again.

Instead we will meet Him in the air, 1Thes 4:16-17.

“If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; ‘Behold, he is in the inner chambers,’ don’t believe it.”
Mtt 24:26

You may or may not believe that, but that IS what Jesus says. In fact, Jeremiah tells us that no descendant of Jeconiah/Coniah will ever rule “in Judah.”

“Thus says Yahweh, Write you this man childless, a man who shall not prosper in his days; for no more shall a man of his seed prosper, sitting on the throne of David, and ruling in Judah.”
Jer 22:30

However, Jesus is a descendant of Jeconiah/Coniah, Mtt 1:11-12. Now that fits 1Thes 4:16-17, but not premillennialism.

Jesus has NOW “ALL authority … in heaven
and on earth,” Mtt 28.18

Jesus NOW rules over the kings of the earth, Rev 1:5, from heaven!

In prophecy there are often subtle shifts in subject.

Prophecy commonly ties the immediate things talked about, with the ultimate things which will happen. A prophecy of Israel’s sins of old will often jump from ancient Israel’s punishments by Assyria and Babylon, to the ultimate punishments at the end of this universe. Also many prophecies of the good that will come from the church or the Jews being faithful to God, jump from temporal benefits in this world to eternal benefits in “the world to come” (Heb 2:5).

An example is Isaiah 65.

Jewish Chronicles, to be released Friday November 6, 2020, described how Ezekiel 37 (pictured from an engraving by Dore, on the book cover) will be fulfilled in world history, and the glorious results that will have. See your book seller.

God speaks of the new heavens and new earth, Isa 65:17-19. There will be no weeping or crying, Isa 65:19. That is only in heaven itself, Rev 21:4. But a child will die at age 100, and the sinner dying at age 100 will be considered cursed, Isa 65:20. But that does not fit heaven -or- this world so far. A shift of subject matter.

The faithful Jews will cause an astonishing extension of human life on earth. This will be the golden age of the church in this world, but it will not quite be heaven. The Jews will still just be men, converting to Jesus. Jew and gentile will truly be one in Christ, Eph 2:18-22. Even so, “evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse,” 2Tim 3:13. Mystery Babylon the Great (Revelation 14 to 18), and the Mystery of Lawlessness (2Thessalonians 2) will still be biding their time.

The Jews Coming to Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth will NOT be the Kingdom of God on earth!

The Kingdom of God was clearly prophesied in the book of Daniel to come in the days of the Roman Empire. In fact, it did come in those days, as prophesied. It was God,

“who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;”
Col 1:13.

The Kingdom of God already exists.

To be released Friday, November 6, 2020, Jewish Chronicles shows how coming events will lead to a huge international persecution of both Christians (first), and then the Jews, and how this will lead to earth shaking changes in world history. It also gives the outlines of how this will change the Jews as a nation, and lead to tremendous prosperity for them.

“24 Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.”
1Cor 15:24-25

Jesus must reign, present active infinitive in Greek, until all His enemies are put under His feet. The Jewish rejection of that spiritual kingdom of another world was anticipated by the prophets. David prophesied of the Messiah’s death and resurrection in Psalm 22 (which is studied from different points of view in both Prophecy Principles, and Revealing the Christian Age). Isaiah also foresaw this death, most famously in Isaiah 53. And Daniel foresaw this death.

“After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One shall be cut off, and shall have nothing: …”
Dan 9:26

All of this is just a sprinkling of the evidence from the Old Testament. So Peter summed it up.

“27 For truly, in this city against your holy servant, Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together 28 to do whatever your hand and your council foreordained to happen.”
Acts 4:27-28

The kingdom is NOT of this world! Jesus said this as emphatically as any one when He was being questioned by Pilate.

“Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my kingdom is not from here.””
Jn 18:36

The Jews, “All the FAMILIES” of Israel,
will be Christians.

This is repeated over and over in Scripture. The prophet Jeremiah was pleading over and over with the Jews of his day to repent. They militantly refused. Still, Jeremiah foresaw a day in which the Jews would change. God Himself spoke of a special day, and said,

At that time, says Yahweh, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.”
Jer 31:1

At a certain time it will happen. There will be tremendous world-wide persecution of the Jews in which two-thirds of them perish, Zech 13:8. When this happens all the families of Israel will mourn.

“12 The land will mourn, every family apart; … 14 all the families who REMAIN, every family apart, and their wives apart.”
Zech 12:12 (emphasis added)

The Jews will become a militant Christian Nation

“Thus says Yahweh, The people who were left of the sword found favor in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.”
Jer 31:2
